Accessbility Advisory Committee Volunteers Needed The Township's Accessibility Advisory Committee helps to improve opportunities for people with disabilities by working towards identifying and removing barriers to participation within the Township. If you are a resident with a disability and are interested in providing further input into helping to ensure a better quality of living for those with disabilities, you are invited to contact Councillor Floyd Pinto at: (905) 936-9616 by email at: floydpinto@porchlight.ca or by calling the Township office at: (705) 434-5055. Accessibility Customer Service Standard Takes Effect - As of January 1, 2008, businesses and organizations that provide services to the public are now required by the Province to make customer service operations accessible to people with disabilities. Entitled the Customer Service Standard, the Province has outlined a set of minimum requirements that must be met when dealing with the public to ensure minimum accessibility requirements.
