HOUSING REQUIREMENTS

HOUSING REQUIREMENTS:  When submitting a building permit application for a new house, the following documentation and information is required.

• 2 complete sets of construction plans (including truss drawing if applicable).  3 sets if septic application is also required
• 2 copies of heat loss calculation with duct layout and ventilation design summary
• 2 site plans indicating all setbacks to property lines, water bodies, and other structures
• 2 site grading plans (stamped by consulting engineer), when required by subdivision agreement
• A completed Ontario New Home Warranty (TARION) declaration
• Completed Building Permit Application and Authorization Form with building permit fee
• Completed List of Applicable Law with required approvals from Agency Responsible for the Applicable Law Provision
